Job Description
MESSC is looking for a dynamic Audit Senior to join our team serving one of our clients. You will have the opportunity to work as a team member on diverse client engagements as part of the audit practice.
- The engagements include closely-held and private equity controlled companies who are Retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors with diverse organizational structures operating in a variety of industrial and consumer product sectors.
- As a member of the Audit team, you'll make a technical contribution to audit engagements and other projects.
- You'll actively establish internal and external relationships, and identify and escalate potential business opportunities on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks,
- You'll escalate issues as appropriate.
- You'll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience with a track record with a leading audit firm
- Ability to travel up to 40% when needed
- Bilingual (Arabic and English)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fully or part Qualified (ACCA or CPA is preferred)
- Excellent project management, time management skills and ability to take initiative
- Work paper documentation and review with excellent writing capabilities
- Good analytical skills and knowledge of internal controls
