Job Description

Major responsibilities include:

  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
  • Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
  • Create databases of known defects to develop protocol for correction actions.
  • Review product requirements and specifications to foresee potential issues, provide input of functional requirements and advise on design.
  • Ability of conducting checks and audit on teams to coach and increase the awareness of integrated management system implementation.
  • Ability of conducting regular and planned quality audit on rigs to follow up integrated management system implementation.
  • Able to Attend client audits and perform root cause analysis for all the weaknesses and findings.
  • Following up the implementation of the agreed corrective actions.
  • Reporting all obstacles that prevent effective implementation of agreed process to management.
  • Preparing a complete process improvement and root cause analysis plans.
  • Provide the needed support for the procedures and implementation needed for ISO 27001 certification.

Job Requirements

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering with minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Certifications – as an advantage include Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Quality Inspection, Auditing and testing experience.
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs.

Skills and Capabilities:

    • Strong software knowledge.
    • Very Good Experience in Quality Assurance activities (NOT Quality Control).
    • Ability to draft quality assurance policies and procedures
    • Attention to details
    • Arabic/ English communication skills
    • Date collection, management and analysis
    • Problem analysis and problem solving
    • Planning and organising.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Skilled in two or more of (CMMI, Six Sigma, ASPICE, ITIL, TQM, ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
