Job Description
- Program and develop fully functional websites and web applications.
- Develop websites and web applications using Drupal and the latest front-end technologies.
- Work on a variety of projects including, front-end development, back-end development, API integrations, and more.
- Solid understanding of what is technically feasible and make appropriate recommendations based on project risks, budget, timeline, milestones, etc.
- Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Ensure consistency of design and functionality across all major browsers and mobile devices.
- Development of e-commerce initiatives using established e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, Stripe, etc.
- Test and acquire approval of projects prior to launch.
- Provide technical advice to internal team members and clients.
- Write clean, concise code that conforms to modern best practices.
- Provide accurate time estimates for projects.
- Manage multiple projects and meeting project deadlines.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of development experience using Drupal, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience collaborating with other developers using version control software such as Github.
- Comfortable using a Linux command line to work with common web technologies to deploy websites and web applications.
- Experience building responsive websites and web applications.
- Experience using either progressive enhancement or graceful degradation to support modern, dated, and mobile browsers.
- Knowledge of best practices for friction-less user experience in both websites and web applications.
- Extremely detailed and organized.
- Website Code Optimization
- Experience using MVC frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel, etc.
- Experience with package managers and task automation.
- Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, and/or Magento.
- Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
- Goal- and results-oriented; strong self-management skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
