Job Description

  • Build, develop and maintain a team of highly skilled and highly motivated sales.
  • Mobilize, coordinate and monitor daily work.
  • Ensure high quality of sales, low arrears, effective recovery work.
  • Ensure teamwork, regular meetings with specialists, specialist evaluation, motivation and development.
  • Contribute to the development of Fawry Finance through ideas, opinions, comments, working groups, training, etc.
  • Be a role model for teams in terms of attitude, professionalism, reputation and integrity.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Builds and maintains the Loan Officers team.
  • Participates in hiring new loan officer.
  • Understands and communicates immediate company strategic goals
  • Identifies acquisition targets and monthly expenses.
  • Achieves team sales targets (customer meetings)
  • Achieves the goal of the team portfolio and ensure the quality of the team portfolio.
  • Monitor work efficiency at the team and individual loan officer level.
  • Identifies gaps in the MF strategy implementation process and ensures timely solutions.
  • Conducts formal performance evaluations of loan officers.
  • Train and motivates loan officer.
  • Encourages teamwork in a customer-focused environment.

Job Requirements

  • Former successful microfinance loan officers (1-2 years’ experience).
  • Able to train, develop and manage a team of at least 10 LO in “branchless” setting to the required sales and risk awareness skills.
  • Systematic approach to organizing and mobilizing sales by the LO team.
  • High level of “risk awareness”, able to identify and eliminate high-risk clients.
  • Highly disciplined and organized in terms of own time management, organizing meetings with the team, feedbacks, follow ups.
  • Capacity to develop business strategy for the team, set targets, monitor implementation, identify gaps and implement solutions.
  • Close follow-up of portfolio development and quality. Capacity to ensure intensive workout of problematic portfolios.
  • Ensure high quality customer service with fast lending turnaround time.
  • Capacity to identify LO weaknesses, and devise corrective action, as well as dismiss and replace LOs, who do not show learning abilities.
  • Capacity to learn and constantly improve oneself.
  • Desire to work in a team with HO supervisors, management, other LO supervisors.
  • Result driven and result-oriented.
