Job Description
Understand Members Business challenges
- Attend, participate and record in various meetings and forums to understand member companies challenges and opportunities
- Maintain a two way efficient communication channel with member companies
Analysis and reporting
- Compile market studies and reports to identify potential areas for supporting member companies
- Investigate and report business opportunities that corresponds to member companies areas of challenge
- Compile statistical and qualitative reports to various market trends, industry norms and information in correspondence with projects at hand
- Prepare pre-qualification submissions as well as registration procedures and any other documentations and studies required for business deals.
- Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of BD databases, including budgets expenditure, vendors list, members activities participation, potential business cooperation entities.. etc
Promote Member companies business to external parties
- Participate in the formulation of the chamber’s business development strategy by providing input on local market trends and opportunities.
- Participate in the implementation of the chamber’s business development strategy, by maintaining key relationships, identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and ensuring that the chamber is prequalified for such opportunities
- Identify prospective projects in the areas of the company’s activities (information technology, business automation, e-commerce, software development, hardware) and cultivate business cooperation deals with authorities and other prospective clients, consultants, etc..
- Participate in the business matchmaking process through finding new companies to partner with and manage schedules
Job Requirements
Educational qualifications
- University degree in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or business administration
Relevant Experience
- 3-5 years related work experience in the IT industry
- Experience preparing reports using different tools
- Experience statistical analysis
- Experience in working for a multi stakeholders environment
- Strong knowledge with IT industry and recent trends
- Marketing background is preferred
