Job Description
Job Purpose:
To manage all T&B Product Sales, within the UAE. Including development of strategic plans, preparation of annual budgets and business plans, setting and monitoring of business objectives and KPI’s. The role holder will be responsible for achieving the Volvo truck budget sales.
Job Description
- Assuming country wide sales and profit responsibility for the T&B units Division; preparation of annual forecasts, budgets and targets and ensuring they are achieved and exceeded
- Exploring new business avenues- initiating market research, feasibility studies and business plans.
- In conjunction with National Service Manager & National Aftersales Managers, developing & implementing customer support strategies
- Stock Planning and managing stock turn days Key Account Management (including negotiation & finalization of key contracts)
- Develop new profitable business and maintain existing profitable clients & write paints specifications / reports and quotations
- Management of customer complaints and analyzing complaint statistics
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Preferably, an Engineer, a business administration qualification will be an added advantage. Must have extensive knowledge of Trucks Sales.
Minimum Experience: At least 10 years of industry experience (Trucks & Buses) of which past 5 years should be in a senior management capacity in similar business.
Job-Specific Skills: Knowledge of industry specific performance indices such as market share, aftermarket absorption. Should be familiar with some dealer operating standards.
Behavioural Competencies: Extrovert, articulate, people oriented, ability to work under pressure, possesses good interpersonal skills, multi- cultural, enjoys working with numbers, strategic thinker.
