Job Description
Role Purpose
Mechanical Engineer is fully responsible for Managing all CFC mechanical systems under CFC City Management scope, which include indicating contracts scope of work (SOW), key performance indicator (KPI) & service level agreement (SLA).
Key Accountabilities
Lead, direct and manage CFC service providers to enhance the performance & to achieve high level of service quality of mechanical systems.
Prepare yearly Budget & Cost Summary for all mechanical systems under City Management Scope.
Apply RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) for CFC existing mechanical systems for Enhancement and development to achieve cost reduction & quality improvement.
Managing inspections at site for final handing over of mechanical Systems according to the proper handover procedures.
Managing the Operation & Maintenance of CFC mechanical systems with prevailing standards/ quality systems in most efficient, timely and cost effective manner.
- Managing the Operation & Maintenance for mechanical systems at CFC stations which include:
- District Cooling Plant (DCP).
- Sewage Pump Station (SPS).
- Water Pump Station (WPS).
- Irrigation Pump Station (IPS).
- Managing the Operation & Maintenance work for CFC mechanical infrastructure systems which include:
- Chilled water Network.
- Domestic Water Network.
- Irrigation & firefighting Network.
- Sewage Network.
- Rain Water Network.
- CFC water features.
- Managing the Operation & Maintenance for mechanical systems at CFC buildings which include:
- Commercial buildings.
- Residential buildings/units.
- Mixed use buildings.
- All other new buildings.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong leadership, good communication skills and Hands-on Experience in Maintenance of mechanical Installations.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands.
- Experience in handling emergency cases and conduct communications in a calm manner.
- The ability to well perform under stress.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 6-8 years’ experience, with minimum 3 years in well reputed large Companies.
Job-Specific Skills:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Minimum 6-8 years’ experience.
- High knowledge of operation & Maintenance of mechanical works.
- Good knowledge of HSE requirements for mechanical systems operation & maintenance.
- Must be well familiar with computer applications and capable of generating & presenting maintenance reports.
