Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, Operating systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Talk staff through a series of actions to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Replace Hardware parts as required
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Manage many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with users
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment and Server room.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience as a help desk.
  • Good understanding of computer systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Heliopolis residents or near by places .
