Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, Operating systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Talk staff through a series of actions to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Replace Hardware parts as required
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Manage many open cases at one time
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with users
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment and Server room.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Job Requirements
- Minimum one year experience as a help desk.
- Good understanding of computer systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent communication skills
- BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field.
