Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assign activities received from section head to team engineers
- Supervise and support team engineers
- Review technical & commercial proposals prepared by team engineers
- Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities
- Act as the company’s internal contact point during the bidding process
- Attend clarification meetings with customers whenever needed
- Take responsibility for all associated documentation handover in case of an award
- Participate in the study of mega projects tenders/RFQs
- Participate in mega projects site visits whenever needed
FOLLOW-UP
- Submit all reports requested by the section head
- Follow-up submitted proposals with team members during all stages until PO/contract awarded
- Coordinate internal work cycle and procedures with finance, supply chain, and technical office to provide customers with the required documents such as a letter of guarantee, shipping documents, engineering documents, etc.
- Escalate problems to section head in a timely manner to minimize business exposure
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Male or female
- BS of electrical/mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in fire fighting systems [FM-200, NOVEC 1230, INERGEN (IG-541), CO₂, sprinklers, etc.] and/or fire alarm systems (Conventional, addressable, etc.)
- Excellent user of MS Office
- Excellent user of AutoCAD
- Team working
- Ability to work under pressure
- English business reading & writing
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Ability to prepare professional correspondences
- High level of accuracy
