Job Description

Job purpose

  • Manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
  • Registering Journal entries, General ledger, Trial balance using accounting excel and accounting program
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
  • Follow up on Accounts payable and payments & account receivable collections.
  • Supporting closure of financial statements
  • Responsible for treasury movement on a daily basis (Expenses, deposits, incoming and outgoing funds, custody)
  • Making banking reconciliations
  • Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Handle all accounting procedure and Bookkeeping in the Accounting records according to the accounting assumption and Egyptian Accounting Standards.
  • Monitors and submits for mailing all periodic financial documents required by the interested creditor, grants and government agencies.
  • Assists Chief Financial Officer in the compilation of miscellaneous confidential reports for use in collective bargaining unit negotiations

Job Requirements

Academic Background & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Experience 3-5 years

Required Knowledge / Skills / Languages:

  • Accounting, Corporate Finance
  • Reporting Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • SFAS Rules,
