Job Description

Job Objectives:

  • To help the company to make the sourcing process of a company or institution more efficient.
  • This can be done through building relationships with suppliers, negotiating the cost and developing agreements that ultimately help a company grow and become more profitable.

Communication Relations:

  • Coordinate with Finance to take payment information and to obtain budget details.
  • Coordinate with Logistics and Warehousing to manage the delivery of the supplies.
  • Coordinate with Planning to assess on-hand inventories of supplies and ensuring they are at appropriate levels.
  • Coordinate with IT to maintain and access records, such as invoices, purchase orders and bidding contracts, to make sure they are up to date.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing in materials requirements and its delivery dates.
  • Coordinate with Sales in identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
