Job Description
- Planning, organizing, directing and controlling production workers and supervising production processes
- Develop daily plans for the items to be produced according to the orders received from the planning and sales departments
- Full supervision of the inputs and outputs of the production processes and the application of quality standards
- Determine the requirements of raw materials and prepare orders for inputs of production processes and submit them to the Procurement Department
- Ensure the best application of health and safety procedures in the factory
- Following up maintenance work and coordinating with the maintenance department in order to implement preventive maintenance plans throughout the year
- Evaluate the progress of production processes and make the necessary changes aimed at improving the quality of production and minimizing time, effort and cost
- File reports on the progress of production processes, achievements and failures to top management
- Research and develop the new methods to ensure higher productivity and product quality
- Define business objectives and priorities and short and long term planning to achieve the company's strategic objectives
- Planning employment according to the need for work and the distribution of tasks to subordinates and follow-up tasks
- Evaluate the performance of subordinates and follow up with their performance indicators and guide them to improve and develop their performance
- Identify, review and approve the types of reports required from subordinates
- Determine the training needs of employees within the department and nominate the types of training courses required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Power Engineering
- Masters of Business Administration degree
- 15 years experience in the production field 3 years experience as section head , Experience in the Lighting field is a major plus
- Five years experience in an administrative position
- Strong management, Problem solving,negotiation, and leadership skills
