Job Description
Under general direction, holds full accountability for fleet operation, cost management, service delivery and fleet services at the client facilities. Ensures improvements are achieved and maintained and a proper balance is achieved between responding to client requests and maintaining GWS high standards and cost effectiveness.
- Managing drivers schedules to maintain adherence to strict schedules.
- Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
- Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
- Complying country laws and regulations.
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
- Monitoring driver behaviour and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Analysing data to increase business operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- People management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Proven track record of solid experience in fleet management.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or any relevant discipline and five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
