Job Description

Under general direction, holds full accountability for fleet operation, cost management, service delivery and fleet services at the client facilities. Ensures improvements are achieved and maintained and a proper balance is achieved between responding to client requests and maintaining GWS high standards and cost effectiveness.

  • Managing drivers schedules to maintain adherence to strict schedules.
  • Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
  • Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Complying country laws and regulations.
  • Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
  • Monitoring driver behaviour and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Analysing data to increase business operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • People management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proven track record of solid experience in fleet management.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or any relevant discipline and five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
