Job Description

  • Arrange all logistics and procurement procedures of imports of spare parts and raw materials from foreign vendors and exporting of finished goods to foreign customers.
  • Receive purchase requisitions from the production and technical team regarding any spare parts or raw material, contact vendor to get an offer, create purchase order, send purchase order to supplier and issue a payment request.
  • Arrange and follow shipping procedures of the issued PO’s as well as reviewing shipping documents and communicate with freight forwarders to arrange customs clearance procedures to ensure safe arrival of shipments
  • Arrange logistics procedures of export shipments, handle all related communications, by receiving delivery schedules (POs) from customers and contacting the freight forwarder to book Vessel/Flight for shipping the requested POs, and create sales order for the requested PO and issue shipping documentations.
  • Track import and export shipments for documentation and update both parties with its status to avoid any conflicts.
  • Review of freight forwarders’ shipping and clearance invoices before forwarding them to the finance department to proceed with the payment transfer.
  • Create weekly Sales report for all PO’s received depending on updating records daily on the system to be visible to the corporate
  • Create monthly cash flow reports and submit it to the finance department to avoid any delays.
  • Create monthly raw material report for the spare parts & raw materials and submit it to corporate purchasing team to keep track of orders.
  • Create monthly sales report and submit it to corporate sales team daily to generate sales revenues of the whole group.
  • Archiving all related logistics and purchasing documents for further evidence both soft and hard copies.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree – Preferably in Logistics
  • Experience : 7 years in the Logistics and Procurement field or 4 - 5 years in the same industry
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office - SAP
  • Languages: Excellent English
