Job Description

  • Prospecting and appointing active partners in new and existing markets
  • Conducting online training and product orientation
  • Responding to partner queries relating to products and/or opportunities
  • Engaging in regular follow ups and assisting partners in expanding their sales funnel and qualifying lead opportunities
  • Working closely with the sales team to analyze tender documents and draft proposals
  • Activating partner relationships and participating in marketing events and roadshow activities as deemed necessary by the sales and marketing department
  • Pitching products and/or services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new potential partners and potential new markets.
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

Job Requirements

  • Experience: 2 -3 years of experience in the same field.
  • Education: A bachelor degree in business or any related field, but a proven background in business development may be sufficient
  • Special Course(s): sales and marketing courses is advantage
  • Training: Any related training is a advantage
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Microsoft Office and associated programs, internet, telephone systems Microsoft Office and associated programs
  • Languages: Fluency in English is a must and in French is a plus
  • Competencies: strong research and strategic analysis skills, Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence
