About the Job
- Ensure the implementation of the financial, administrative and operational policies adopted by the company.
- Review the evaluation of internal procedures and supporting documentation to ensure that these procedures and documentation provide an effective control system, and identify any deficiencies or weaknesses in the control systems used.
- Review the contracts concluded between the company and other entities in financial terms and ensure that there are no items carrying financial obligations by mistake.
- Review the accounting system and ensure the correctness, regularity and accuracy of accounting data.
- Submit periodic reports to the Secretary-General, which clarify irregularities that may occur and weaknesses in the internal control procedures, which are discovered through documentary review and that cause financial loss to the Commission in case of recurrence.
- Assess the financial system of the company and look for the best ways to enter the system.
- Take copies of the periodic reports of departments to follow up and correct deviations if any.
- Check the validity and regularity of the procurement cycle and ensure the application of its regulations.
- Validate costs and expenses and they are within approved budgets.
- Participating in the inventory operations carried out by the Authority (cash, fixed assets, inventory).
- Reviewing the annual and annual financial statements before presenting them to the Board of Directors.
- Prepare periodic and annual audit reports in accordance with the audit plan.
- Review the quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial centers and prepare the reports and data required for the management of financial affairs.
- Guidance, supervision, review and decision-making according to the powers granted.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Director General of Finance.
