Job Description
- Handling the daily correspondences between the firm and the foreign clients.
- Handling the correspondences between the firm and sub-agents.
- Updating the requirements for ARIPO and OAPI unions in addition to other foreign countries.
- Preparing instructions relevant to IP services (filing, petition, opposition, renewal, recordals … etc.
- Preparing proposals including (fees and requirements)
- Approaching new sub-agents for the best prices.
- Providing the clients with any update relevant to their cases.
- Addressing original documents, certificates.. etc., to the applicant.
- Preparing POAs on behalf of the applicant.
- Compiling country data requirements in regards to new filings.. etc.,
- Keeping the clients informed of any changes in foreign country legislations in regards to IP rights.
Since the position does NOT require a degree in law, Faculty of Law graduates are NOT encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English language.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
