Job Description

  • Pricing the finished products.
  • Validate the cost of goods sold as a part of the monthly closing.
  • Prepare the cost of customer’s returns.
  • Analyze direct and indirect expenses, according to plans.
  • Monitor and analyze the deviations of raw materials that were used.
  • Follow-up accounting entries of outgoing of the main raw materials stores, as well as packaging materials store.
  • Participate in preparing the planned budget.
  • Prepare entries for prices of material variances.
  • Match the inventory balances with the actual warehouse stocks.
  • Analyze deviations.

Job Requirements

Experience

  • At least 3 + years of experience in ''costing accountant'' in Furniture industry will be an asset.

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Commerce.

Languages

  • Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Job Title: Costing Accountant

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Windows & ERP).
  • Assist in all aspects of Finance and Accounting.
  • Time management.
  • Type & Level of Contract: Fixed-Term/P.
  • Duration & Start Date: 12 months (renewable) - Starting ASAP
  • Unit/Division: Finance Dept.
  • Duty Station(City, Country): Regional Bureau in Cairo, Egypt
  • Furniture Industry experience is preferred.
