Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Structural Design’ Drawings, calculations, structure models, Specifications, and BOQs for a range of projects to assure compatibility with Structural drawings and other trades.
- Coordinate with other departments through the subsequent design stages.
- Follows up the implementation of any necessary changes to the designs or drawings.
- Review all Structural Design documentation prepared and ensure that it is correct to a high degree of accuracy, suitable for construction and in accordance with all relevant codes & standards.
- Carry out meetings with the management team members.
- To handle client & technical meetings.
- Managing the design process using program / time awareness and technical expertise.
- Initiate and develop design criteria and basic designs of Structural systems to maximize cost efficiency.
- Responsible for accountable on the design quality and design team productivity.
- Create Structural Technical reports for various types of projects.
- Response to contractors’ quires & RFIs to solve technical problems.
- Develop vision and goals for the civil engineering team, in alignment with broader company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assisting in preparation of technical proposals.
Job Requirements
Experience and Qualification:
- +15 years of Experience
- B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable University.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Optional: Professional Certificate in Project Management (PRMG, PMP, IPMA).
- Previous experience in high reputed Consultant Engineering Company.
- Previous experience in different type of projects (Hospitals, Hospitality, Residential, Administration buildings, Mixed Use Towers & Developments).
- Comprehensive knowledge of buildings design standards and codes in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
- Familiar with internationally recognized codes standards.
- Proven work experience in Design Management.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures.
- Able to set priorities and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
- Excellent dealing with Structural Analysis and Design Software and Tools.
- Good experience in structure design to tender (Steel and Concrete).
- Good experience in Structure Detailing.
- Optional: Experience in Shop Drawings (RCD, ASD, Aram Cad).

- Capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.

- Discover training needs and provide coaching.
Computer Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SAP, SAFE, ETABS, STAAD Pro, LIMCON, HILITI, RAM CONNECTION, IDEA STATICA, RAM CONCEPT and BIM process awareness.
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Optional: Navisworks.
