Job Description
- Accountable for the overall ownership for all customers assigned to the Safmarine Egypt Reefer Portfolio and building strong relationships with the decision-makers and influencers of the clients.
- Manages and organizes sales activities and leads and drives performance to ensure volume and revenue targets are met.
- Identify clients’ business strategies and objectives, logistics needs and buying criteria to develop and articulate value-based solutions to address their needs and wants.
- Accountable for identifying all relevant opportunities with associated offers submissions being delivered comprehensively and competitively, through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders
- Generates new opportunities and develops local differentiators and formulates a business plan to support target delivery
- Ensures sales systems and reporting are up to date for management tracking, analysis and planning
- Monitor adherence to tender nominations, commitments, terms, and conditions with an aim to increase share of wallets in line with business goals.
- Collaborate with local and international colleagues to provide first-class service to further increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Actively participate in frequent exhibitions and workshops locally as well as internationally to represent Safmarine and interact with customers and various stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- University degree in a related area
- Field sales experience for minimum of 3 years
- Experience on Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics and Services products
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Willingness to be a team player and excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to deeply build an understanding of reefer customers’ strategic intent and current position, thereafter identifying further opportunities for partnership
- Able to work under pressure, undertake challenges and take the initiative
- Analytical, strong planning, presentation and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and highly developed persuasiveness, influencing and negotiating skills
- Self-motivated, result driven and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully
- Building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications
- Active driver license with no travel restrictions
