Job Description
- Perform maintenance tasks on terminal equipment (Individually or within a team)
- Updating preventive maintenance check lists according to equipment condition, and OEM recommendation.
- Review, update, monitor and execute if necessary the Equipment structure maintenance program.
- Technically investigating equipment (Mechanical/Structural related) failures aiming to reach root causes and preventive solutions, Applying sample solutions and Executing simple repairs if required.
- Reporting findings, solutions, RCAs as a learning opportunity to Eng-staff.
- Assisting in running condition based maintenance (CBM) programs to achieve maximum equipment reliability and availability.
- Contacting OEM or parts manufactures for having their technical support if needed.
- Assist in training Asset Maintenance staff whenever required to increase work efficiency.
- Ensuring safety regulation is applied within his work environment with full compliance with all related Safety Standards.
Job Requirements
- University degree in mechanical engineering.
- 3 to 4 years’ experience in heavy equipment (preferred Port Equipment)
- Experience in Diesel engine , Hydraulic systems maintenance
- Easily deals with equipment specification, manuals and steel structure drawings, and aware with structure maintenance and repairs.
- Good Knowledge of loads, stresses and construction materials especially in steel structures.
- Good Knowledge with structural engineering software.
- Excellent English language (Reporting, Presentation and communication skills are required).
- Valid Driving License will be preferred.
