Job Description
- Performing maintenance tasks on terminal equipment (Individually or within a team).
- Performing running condition based maintenance (CBM) programs to achieve maximum equipment reliability and availability.
- Technically investigating equipment (Electrical related) failures aiming to reach root causes and preventive solutions, Applying sample solutions.
- Updating preventive maintenance check lists according to equipment condition, and OEM recommendation.
- Ensuring reliable running Drive and PLC systems on terminal equipment.
- Contacting OEM or parts manufactures for having their technical support on all faced challenges.
- Assisting in training Asset Maintenance staff whenever required to increase work efficiency.
- Enforce safety standards in line with company policy and government regulations.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Electrical engineering with Good technical background in field of specialization.
- 3 to 4 years’ experience in Electrical, Drive and PLC systems (Siemens systems preferred) Maintenance, Container terminal Experience is plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to research and resolve issues promptly.
- Using testing tools and problem solving methodologies.
- A computer skill with MS office as mandatory, CAD software is advantage.
- Excellent English language (Reporting, Presentation and communication skills are required).
- Valid Driving License will be preferred.
