Job Description
- Perform planned maintenance as per the department’s schedule coordinating service and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
- Carry out surveys of plant mechanical equipment and installations on a day-to-day basis, allocating works to the technicians and monitoring their performance ensuring that standards and timescales are met.
- Resolve operational problems and provide information and advice to team members as necessary
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations for correcting procedures and methods. Assist in implementing the agreed planned maintenance programs and ensure that responsive repairs and emergencies are dealt with efficiently and promptly.
- Develop mechanical schedules of repairs, assess against agreed criteria and make recommendations for priority rating for consideration for inclusion in the annual planned maintenance work programs.
- Contribute to the development of the Property Mechanical Maintenance Team, including recommending improvements to working practices, constructive problem solving, coaching team members, etc.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5-7 years in mechanical maintenance.
- At least 5 years of work experience in continuous manufacturing processes.
