Job Description

Role Summary:

  • Support the team in evaluation of development opportunities, consistently with stated strategic growth initiatives of the business

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Raising financing from Export Credit Agencies, Development Finance Institutions & International & Regional banking institutions
  • Assist the team in developing various types of complex financial models for capital raising & development transactions
  • Conduct preparation & review of materials used in the financing of projects, including project presentations
  • Coordinate with various departments at GE and leverage relationships with existing financing institutions & investors in order to raise financing
  • Perform due diligence, research, analysis for transactions.
  • Assist the team at an early/ conceptual stage of the project with key partners including EPCs, investors, financiers, consultants, influencers
  • Analyze deals from both strategic and financial aspects to lock-in GE equipments
  • Support due diligence process of development opportunities including internal approvals
  • Market and industry analysis to support development & financing

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Three or more years of experience of working with investors & financing institutions in raising capital
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals
  • Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong financial modeling experience
  • Excellent relationships with regional investors and financing institutions
  • Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
