Job Description

Role Summary:

The Senior ITO & OTR Contracts Manager will split his/her time 50-50% in providing broad-based and thorough commercial contract management support to the project management group both in the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) phase of the project pipeline, mainly focusing on the Middle-East and India regions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, negotiation of claims, and the writing and execution of settlement agreements to resolve issues
  • Support electronic order release system including interfacing with information systems for problem resolution and system enhancement as well as related database and administrative tools
  • Participate in the maintenance of Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) / Order-to-Remittance (OTR) contract management databases such as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) T&Cs, consortium management database and construction subcontract databases and liquidated damages and insurance recovery databases
  • Support efforts to pursue Insurance / Supplier Recovery as appropriate
  • Represent GE’s interests in customer and GE internal meetings

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other business / technical discipline from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years prior commercial contract administration, contract management and/or proposal development experience, or project management experience
  • Minimum 5 years terms and conditions analysis experience including the ability to recognize and assess impacts on project execution
  • At least five years of negotiation and customer facing experience.
  • Ability and willingness for up to 50% travel as required for consortium and customer negotiations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills, successfully navigating in a matrix environment

  • Microsoft suite proficiency
