About the Job

  • We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
  • The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

Main Job Duties:

  • Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
  • Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements.
  • Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making Producing long-term business plans.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance.
  • Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models.
  • Carrying out business modeling and risk assessments.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Supervising staff
  • Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager
  • Experience from 10-15 years ( 1-2 as a financial Manager )
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficient user of finance software, ERP, Quick Books
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
