Job Description

General Summary:

  • Organizing events that will make an impact to a target audience. Ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.
  • Understanding marketing and promotion techniques. Having fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Detailed Job Description:

  • Plan entire event steps according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Win business through effective pricing and quick responses to enquiries
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Provide accurate and timely information to clients.
  • Deal with clients who have various meeting and event requirements
  • Coordinate with operation managers
  • Lead promotional activities for the event
  • Focus on improving customer satisfaction to create customer loyalty and deliver a positive event experience.
  • Planning multiple events at once

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as event sales manager
  • ENGLISH Language School graduate is a MUST
  • Experience of working within a Hotel or Events business
  • Skilled in project management
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Time Management & Sales skills
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills
