Job Description
Our rapidly expanding company is looking for a motivated and experienced sales manager that is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and have the opportunity to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities in the food distribution industry of semi-finished multinational food brands.
The sales manager should be able to direct and oversee the company's sales politics, objectives and initiatives to set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs.
Understand what motives customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.
Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
- Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales politics and strategies
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them
- Maintain data relative to accounts and activities and will document customer interaction
- Prepare reporting as needed
