Job Description

  • We have a team of 35+ staff located in Maadi, Cairo.
  • This position will be based in Maadi and you will report to the Managing Director.

Job Description:

Human Resource Strategies:

  • Formulates innovative HR initiatives, combining strategic business plans with the corporate culture and people management practices.
  • Regularly analyzes the current status of the organization and identifies emerging trends visible in the market relevant to MAVINZ workforce.

HR Policy, Projects and Initiatives:

  • Provides strategic direction and leadership on the development of HR policies, projects and initiatives.
  • Researches best practices to enable the best design of MAVINZ policies.
  • Evaluates the results of HR projects and initiatives to ensure expectations are met and determines next steps for improvement and sustainability.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Employee Engagement:

  • Provides direction, advice and support on employee engagement.
  • Facilitates engagement surveys (re-surveying on a bi-annual basis); reports out on results; and develops and provides oversight to organization-wide strategies that flow from the survey results and priorities.
  • Continue implementation of company programs including give-back days.

Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Researches and analyzes workforce issues and trends in order to identify and recommend resolutions for MAVINZ.
  • Works closely with senior leadership to develop workforce/HR plans and key performance indicators that align with the competency/capability framework and medium and long-term needs.
  • Supports a strategic workforce planning approach to talent acquisition and management in conjunction with line managers and other HR staff.
  • Develops appropriate metrics to measure the outcomes of workforce/HR plans.
  • Guides the development and implementation of a succession management program.

Administrative:

  • Handle enrollment and maintenance. Be available for questions and work -with our contacts to answer any employee questions.
  • Apply and lead to winning company awards (eg. best place to work).
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.

Employee Relations

  • Act as an open door by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action as needed.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

Job Requirements

  • Five years administrative, planning, and leadership experience
  • Experience in working with senior leaders to assess organizational needs and develop high-impact solutions
  • Ability to lead teams and work through others
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and follow up on several tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
  • Possession of excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Systems thinker with the ability to conceptualize processes, procedures and best practices to support and grow people resources.
  • Demonstrated expertise and skills in leading change initiatives
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and compelling way to different audiences and foster a culture of trust and openness
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively contribute in a team environment influence people to outcomes.
  • Ability to see both the bigger picture and the detail in order to set a clear direction and develop goals that align with MAVINZ priorities and deliver results
  • Ability to establish networks and create opportunities for engagement and involvement
  • Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical reports.
