Job Description
- Choose the appropriate suppliers to purchase from by doing extensive industry research, meet with salespeople and compares their products and prices.
- Negotiate sales agreements to purchase the required products then award contracts to the vendors, and continue to administrate these contracts throughout the relationship.
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness and periodically review suppliers
- Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement.
- Perform material planning and sourcing.
- Keep accurate records to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard
- Keep updated with market developments and assist in vendor Development.
- Report on budget versus Actual performance on periodical basis
- Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy.
- Adheres to safety policy procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor`s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Very good communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong documentation and Engineering change control experience preferred
