Job Description
- Production managers ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
Key Accountabilities:
- Gaining experience in a junior post such as a production supervisor, production engineers, material planner or in inventory control. With the appropriate experience and relevant certifications, production managers may gain responsibility for several production lines or production plants.
Job Duties:
- Production orders execution as planned
- Overseeing production processes
- Perform with quality control standards
- Applying lean manufacturing methodologies
- Supervising the work of junior staff
- Operate and function all production department SOP’s
- Create the required production, and reporting tools to monitor and analyze production lines performances
- Responsible for measuring production capacities and bottlenecks identification
- Achieve all production targets
- Design and create visual boards
- Design new factory floor layout if required
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary with the planning department
- Estimating, and negotiating the production department’s budgets and timescales with a reporting line
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Discuss the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment with the Maintenance department
- Assessing new production projects and resource requirements
- Organizing relevant training and awareness sessions

- Education and Experience Requirements
- From 8 to 10 Years of Experience
- Proven experience for production management
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Lean manufacturing certification
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred
