Job Description
The major day to day functions of the Content Editor include but not limited to:
Monitor the content for different client's websites by:
- Updating the content (Text, Image, Audio, Video) Regularly and suggesting areas of improvement
- Monitor client website interactive services
- Manage and update clients online shops catalogs
- Ensure that all content updates and management are done according to the client's publishing standards
- Ensure that all content updates and management are consistent and as per the clients branding guidelines
- Editing content for consistency and accuracy by recognizing discrepancies in language, layout or formatting
- Content proofreading and editing
- Follow the standards and procedures and methodologies for content creation, organization and distribution
- Create, format and edit web content and layout design
- Format and edit multiple e-Newsletters
Job Requirements
- Ability to use content management solutions (CMS), provided by the client to update his site content
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Knowledge of web 2.0 and social media resources
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral communications skills
- Strong writing and research skills
- Detail-oriented, creative, deadline-driven team player who can adapt and learn quickly, particularly in regard to new software and technology
