Job Description

The major day to day functions of the Content Editor include but not limited to:

Monitor the content for different client's websites by:

  • Updating the content (Text, Image, Audio, Video) Regularly and suggesting areas of improvement
  • Monitor client website interactive services
  • Manage and update clients online shops catalogs
  • Ensure that all content updates and management are done according to the client's publishing standards
  • Ensure that all content updates and management are consistent and as per the clients branding guidelines
  • Editing content for consistency and accuracy by recognizing discrepancies in language, layout or formatting
  • Content proofreading and editing
  • Follow the standards and procedures and methodologies for content creation, organization and distribution
  • Create, format and edit web content and layout design
  • Format and edit multiple e-Newsletters

Job Requirements

  • Ability to use content management solutions (CMS), provided by the client to update his site content
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Knowledge of web 2.0 and social media resources
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills and oral communications skills
  • Strong writing and research skills
  • Detail-oriented, creative, deadline-driven team player who can adapt and learn quickly, particularly in regard to new software and technology
