Job Summary:
Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. He/ she should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. He/ she should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase and perform project management activities
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Respond to complaints and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to management
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status and transactions
- Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, and in person meetings
- Carry out assessment of a client’s needs and business objectives.
- Take client’s requirements and assist with plans to meet those requirements.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
- Help management with company-wide strategic planning
- Identify industry trends and analyzing consumer behavior.
- Create detailed sales business plans and manage the entire sales cycle
- Provide professional after-sales support
- Collect and analyze data, and improve the overall customer experience
- Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
- Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering)
- 8-10 years of experience
- Very good English proficiency. TOEIC exam will be requested during probation period with minimum score 720.
- Proven work experience as Sales Account Manager or other relevant experience
- Experience in Power Generation & Industrial segments is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
