Job Description

Job Summary:

Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. He/ she should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. He/ she should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase and perform project management activities
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Respond to complaints and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to management
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status and transactions
  • Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, and in person meetings
  • Carry out assessment of a client’s needs and business objectives.
  • Take client’s requirements and assist with plans to meet those requirements.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Help management with company-wide strategic planning
  • Identify industry trends and analyzing consumer behavior.
  • Create detailed sales business plans and manage the entire sales cycle
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Collect and analyze data, and improve the overall customer experience
  • Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.

Job Requirements

  • BSc degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering)
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Very good English proficiency. TOEIC exam will be requested during probation period with minimum score 720.
  • Proven work experience as Sales Account Manager or other relevant experience
  • Experience in Power Generation & Industrial segments is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
