Job Description
- Responsible for performing work independently as well as under the direction of the senior consultant or manager and ensure their approval for assigned projects’ plans.
- Assist the senior consultant and/or manager in coordinating any assignments by contributing to the development of project plans.
- Perform and participate in drafting any required Financial models, Strategy planning presenting it to the senior consultant and/or manager for review and approval.
- Build a good partnership model and manage the relationship with startups’ sourcing channels (e.g. incubators, accelerators, website applicants..etc.) and ecosystem players
- Attend events related to entrepreneurship
- Screen the startups according to program’s strategy
- Qualify screened startups according to agreed selection criteria after analyzing start-up team strengths, market size, technology and business model
- Organize and attend pitching days for qualified startups in front of program’s executive committee
- Get the needed support from pmaestro experts to perform (Commercial, Operational, Technology) due diligence exercise for shortlisted/qualified startups
- Participate in preparing startup’s assessment reports and present it to investors and corporate partners
- Support merger and acquisition negotiations (deal structure, terms & conditions ...etc) between selected startups and investors seeking win-win deal closure
- Work with startup management team, pmaestro team and program’s executive committee to formulate fast growth strategies and agree targets’ achievement checkpoints
- Build a good rapport with startup’s team
- Provide the needed support to implement the agreed on strategy.
- Supervise product(s) and service(s) development with the startup product & service owners
- Consider the necessary measures and controls to assure growth strategy implementation
- Organize and attend monthly review meeting with program’s executive committee
- Conduct post mortems (Lessons learnt) and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Support business expansion and development activities including financial modeling, deal structuring, sales, network building, market research
- Support the startups in next financing round closure
Job Requirements
- At least bachelor degree from reputable university, Major in Entrepreneurship, Business or Economics, AUC and GUC graduates are preferable
- Super communication skills
- Excellent in numbers
- Excellent in presentations
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Knowledge and experience in product / industry’s trends, best practices of digital economy
- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem solving skills
- Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges
- Consulting or Business Analysis experience is a plus
- Experience managing client projects in a consulting environment is a plus
