Job Description
- To facilitate preparation department strategy towards major projects by supervising preparations of proper job specifications, finalize opinions of prospective work and seek final approval from the Chief Technical Services Officer.
- Supervise the completion of activities undertaken by the Company by means of relevant Marine Logistics Department contracts, agreements or by international and local marine legislative bodies.
- Evaluate researches and studies related to the shipping industry especially for marine vessels, equipment and machinery pertaining to the existing fleet modification, supplementary and additional ship acquirement strategy.
- Bring to the attention and advise the Chief Technical Services Officer on all issues of importance and relevant marine rules, regulations and procedures, which concerns the Marine Logistics Department.
- Monitor activities of the Marine Logistics in the achievement of annual and long-term objectives.
- Prepare Marine Logistics Department annually budget and administer expenditures.
- Review fleet revenue invoicing.
- Set and implement Marine Logistics Department objectives to support Company's business planning and development.
- Monitor subordinates proper implementation of Department objectives.
- Communicate with the international and local marine legislative bodies regarding new and amended rules and regulations.
- Monitor fleet compliance to the international, local and clients rules and regulations.
- Communicate with relevant clients regarding management of change to Company's fleet equipment, HSE and operational procedures and practices.
