- Business analysts are responsible for mending the gap between the IT and the business using business analytics tools to evaluate the processes, discover the requirements, and providing data-driven reports and suggestions to the executives and stakeholders. It is a practice of enabling transformation on the context of the organization by the definite solutions to bring value and help them to reach the organizational goal.
- Analyzing and modeling existing business processes. The goal of business process analysis is to understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement. A thorough understanding of the current state of the organization is necessary prior to recommending changes related to implementing a new business solutions
- Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, design and specify functional solutions through solution implementation.
- Requirement gathering – Employ techniques to derive information; mapping/modeling of the business processes, conduct as-is/to-be business processes, instrumental in the business process re-engineering and gather information through interview skills
- Work with the development team to meet established objectives for quality, reliability and performance
- Analyze and improve business processes by reducing time while improving efficiency
- Analyze impact of changes in existing systems
- Analyze and resolves problems then implement corrective actions
- Prepare and/or review the instructions, functional documentation
- Perform analysis and experiments to explore alternatives
- Test system functionality and integration
