Job Description

You will build and craft analytical and modelling tools to derive actionable consumer and business insights for the business, keeping P&G with state of the art big data application and analysis.

You are part of a multi-functional business team, constantly exploring new opportunities for business growth. Your key to success will be your ability to build on and combine soft skills with analytical skills, and use integrative thinking to convey research findings to drive actions with your key business partners across levels and functions.

You will report to the Consumer Market Knowledge leader for the brand and work extensively with colleagues from other teams including Marketing, Product Supply, Sales, Communications and Finance.

What Success Looks Like

  • Build strong working relationships with team members, including the Brand, Communications, Media and Sales teams to enable the delivery of business priorities
  • Demonstrate initial understanding of P&G’s key business drivers and data analytics needs
  • Owned and developed capabilities that quantify key business drivers, assess sufficiency of plans, and improve sales & return on our marketing investments
  • Grow into a trusted consumer insights expert who works effectively with your business unit

Job Responsibilities

  • Driving business results by influencing marketing, media and sales investments, through an analytics-based approach
  • Working alongside business leaders to champion shopper-based business plans that drive growth in specific retailers and channels
  • Leading analysis presentations to External Retail and Distributor Partners.
  • Managing Agencies to deliver best in class data/analytics in timely manner
  • Take performance measurement to the next level by building individual person/store analytics capability
  • Enable teams to assess business potential of new ideas and launch successful initiatives
  • Identify share and reapply data analytics approach to other businesses
  • Attributive and predictive market level modelling for trade promotion and media spend optimization
  • Broader organization resource on big data application and data analysis.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in market data analytics or consumer insights, or an equivalent field
  • A Bachelors/Master’s degree in business, data analytics, psychology, social studies, anthropology, physical sciences or other relevant degrees
  • Ability to query and analyze data on a big data environment.
  • Ability to develop attributive and predictive models, based on deep-dive statistical analysis & modeling
  • Strong experience with marketing measurement techniques including Retail Audit Analysis, Brand Health Tracking and ROI Studies
