Scope
- Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
- Design and deployment of our database
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed APIs
- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
- Participate in our product development from ideation to deployment and beyond
- Create groundbreaking new features for our users and customers, and for internal use
- Work with our team to make our product is smarter and more intuitive to use
- Maintain and help optimize existing systems
- Creating servers and databases for functionality
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Designing and developing APIs
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Job Requirements

Required competencies:
- Proficiency in web programming, from schema design to building user-facing interfaces and back end frameworks
- A 20:20 vision when it comes to fine details
- A keen eye towards design and user experience
- Obsessive focus on writing clean and elegant code
- You can help us push the product development and make an impact from the first moment
- You should be able to demonstrate expertise in the following:
- Ruby on Rails proficiency
- Have mastered several languages including any one or more of the following: Scala, Node.js, React.js, Go or Python
- Proficiency with the following: JavaScript/jQuery, Angular.js, PostgresQL or MySQL, HTML and CSS (especially HTML5 and CSS3)
- Experience with agile methods (Scrum and Kanban) is a plus
