Job Description

  • Check the discounts and the acknowledgments with suppliers.
  • Placing Orders.
  • Check the down payment with our finance department.
  • Coordinate with finance department money transfers.
  • Monitor the production time for orders.
  • Coordinate and monitor shipping procedure (Import – Export).
  • Create the shipping methods according to the client / project deadline.
  • Determine the shipping agencies to deal with (Cargo or Express) concerning time and shipping period.
  • Handle shipping procedures routes (Air or Sea).
  • Negotiate and find the lowest price with forwarders.
  • Arrange the incoming and outgoing shipments for all departments.
  • Prepare import and export documentations required for international shipments.
  • Coordinate with shipping forwarders to obtain and update the shipment tracking.
  • Open new accounts with the shipping agencies.
  • Coordinate between agencies weather local and international.
  • Settle the supplier accounts (packing, documentation fees).
  • Communicate with sales / customer service to solve international problems.
  • Handle other functional areas to resolve internal problems.
  • Monitor the clearance process with the customs and brokers with providing the necessary documents.
  • Arrange the incoming and outgoing shipments for technical office, Interiors design, Steelcase, Arco, Showroom, Architecture dep. and Electrometrical department.
  • Coordinate with Qatar export and import shipments from/to Egypt.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from well-known university.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision making skills
  • Responsibility & daily follow-up skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
