Supply Planning Manager
If you join our team, you may have the following responsibilities:

  • To schedule and replenish inventory planning based on the demand forecast from domestic and export market in meeting the customer request in safe and efficient manner.
  • To plan finished products at the right quantity to ensure that customer orders and stock days are met and achieved.
  • To coordinate all activities between Sales & Marketing and overseas counterpart for new initiatives through a robust MOC process
  • Serve as the interface to the distributor partner on the LBM process.
  • To liaise with suppliers for RM (Additive/Base Oil/Packaging) requirements and coordinate with Logistics Function on ensuring that all requirements are met for production plans.
  • Work on Streamline to manage product introduction, changes and compatibility with JDE.
  • To work out plan for phase in-phase out of additives, liaising with Regional Procurement team and arranging for product trial blend before importing new additives. To ensures old additives are depleted before phasing in new product
  • Identification of Slow Moving and Obsolete Stocks and create a plan for reduction/re-use
  • Issuance of Purchase Orders as per the latest pricing updated from Regional Procurement
  • SPA for all vendor related queries on payments status and invoice discrepancies for RM suppliers and toll blender
  • Creation of Purchase Orders/Credit and Debit notes (and obtaining approvals where required)
  • Working with teams in different time zones
  • Monitoring of spend against plan despite the plan having being submitted against high level forecasts and recurring variances between demand/forecast
  • Challenges to meet promise to customer – consistent production adherence plan.
  • Stocks management control with considerations of warehouse space. Monitoring of RM spend vs planned numbers and highlighting variances with reasons
  • Ensure that supplier performance is monitored against SLAs and regular engagement sessions held to discuss KPIs
  • Monitor and manage supplier held inventories in line with demand and forecast variations
  • Preparation of performance reports for the planning function
  • Act as the point of contact between the planning and marketing function with the supplier related to packaging related queries
  • Support Customer Fulfillment Manager in engagements with EGPC as and when required for BO quota meetings
  • The role is crucial in meeting the business requirements by ensuring product availability for suppliers based in different geographic locations (both 3rd Party as well as Group Company) with differing lead times.
  • The incumbent will be required to liaise with a large number of suppliers based in different countries as well different colleagues in other functions

Job Requirements

Educational background

  • Graduate Degree holder or any equivalent professional qualification – Mandatory
  • Understanding of supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with SOIP processes.
  • Ability to interact with different level of management.


Experience

  • Minimum five years in a supply chain
  • An accounting back ground is an added advantage

  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a cross-departmental multicultural environment
  • A self-motivated person who displays initiative and creativity in problem solving
  • A positive attitude with a proactive approach
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Well-versed in MS Office applications and accounting packages
  • Good telephonic handling skills, e-mail etiquette
