Job Description
Eduniverse is looking for a WordPress Web Developer responsible of designing and implementing new features and functionality. As well as establishing and guiding the website’s architecture. Ensuring high-performance, availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Also be responsible of formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Proven experience with WordPress, Woocommerce and related plugins
- Extending WordPress & WooCommerce functionality to work with external systems / API
- Providing input on business decisions and project goals
- Proven experience in customizing E-Commerce Platform.
- Developed Web-based applications
- Build and deploy Reports
DETAILS OF FUNCTIONS
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Experience in building user interfaces for various websites and/or web applications
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Job Requirements
- A university degree is a Must.
- Major in Computer Science, or any relevant field.
- 1 - 3 years of related experience is a MUST.
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic & English.
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
- Have good time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
