Job Description

Job Scope: As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for growing new business within the existed clients and identifying new business opportunities through the implementation of sales and marketing strategy to achieve company’s targeted revenues and meet strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategic business development plan including sales and marketing.
  • Research to develop the client base within both the government and private sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and requirements.
  • Develop creative tenders and offers for the government and corporates.
  • Managing the full cycle of business development including developing proposals based on clients RFQ’s, designing and presenting pitches, negotiating and problem-solving as well as executing all new contracts.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure a smooth sales & operational delivery process and to maintain consistent service levels that meet clients’
  • Handle all contract and financial planning including requirements, collecting and execution.
  • Conduct site visits to follow up on projects delivery & support the operation in all aspects of the event.
  • Contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction and enhancing the company’s value and brand to our clients.
  • Partnering with both local and international vendors negotiating long term contracts.
  • Create periodical reports e.g., business forecast and sales reports.
  • Manage a team of professionals, provide them with necessary training and coaching, set KPIs and conduct performance evaluation.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field.
  • Master degree in Business Administration is a big
  • Must have at least 12 years of experience.
  • At least 6 years in the event management.
  • At least 6 years in management roles.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and operating systems.
  • Full command of written and spoken English.
