Job Description
- All Customer-facing communication
- Receive Customer booking from shipper or destination office
- Qualify booking details
- Request/receive pickup instructions from shipper and relay to operations
- Requests update with MDM as applicable
- Capture Customer booking in TMS (file creation)
- Credit check and follow up on credit issues with finance
- Acknowledge booking receipt to Customer
- Evaluate routing, equipment availability and preferred Carrier routing into TMS
- Forward booking confirmation from Operations to Customer
- Forward self-delivery instructions from Operations to Customer as applicable
- Forward pickup details from Operations to Customer as applicable
- Receive and upload Customer documents to ODM
- Forward draft BL from Operations to Customer.
- Notify Documentation team if any changes required to the draft BL
- Discrepancy Handling and claim communication
- Evaluation of Customer profitability
- Quality Deviation and follow up
- Process operational reporting for Customer
- Explore upsell opportunities with the Customer
- Customer KPI
- Confirm booking with Carrier and issue booking confirmation
- Create/Send Self Delivery Instruction to Customer Management as applicable
- Instruct MCT operator for pickup arrangement
- Request invoice from Carrier and forward to Operational Accounting for processing
- Create verify accruals
- Shipment tracking and Event updates
- Adhere to Customer SOP & KPI
- Upload documents to ODM
- Follow up with the clearance team
- Finalize shipment documentation
- Weekly closing
