Job Description

  • Account for all business activities/operations, support staff development, enhance efficiency, ensure the quality of business processes, drive sales and improve revenue, maintain relationships externally, enhance the organization's image, and meet overall growth objectives effectively and ultimately.
  • Serve as the top executive for the functions/business units and is responsible/accountable for strategy, structure, budgets, people, financial outcomes and scorecard metrics.
  • Managing both the revenue and cost elements of an income statement, cash flows and advise on investments.
  • Study / Evaluate financial plans and opportunities by presenting assumptions, recommending objectives and pursuing targeted goals and objectives.
  • Oversee/lead increasing international shipments and gain new business agreements in addition to leading the overall productivity enhancement of export function.
  • Oversee the compatibility of shipments with regulations; approve its suitable payment transactions in addition to being up to date with markets demands and standards.
  • Reorganize and decentralize the business in order to make faster decisions, improve execution in markets, and reduce costs that encourage maintaining fewer layers, bigger jobs, and broader responsibilities.
  • Guide challenging job assignments to speed high-potential employees’ development and eliminate blockages to open up spots in additional rewarding on performance-based.
  • Provide recommendations for attracting talented managers/staff, develop them quickly, and keep them challenged and effectively deployed.
  • Train/coach/lead/ supervise and manage all level of managers and staff professionally. Guide the hiring process of the employees in addition to evaluating their performance and productivity periodically and providing help to people develop and be productive, while ensuring that profits are on the rise.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as GM or in other managerial position.
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing a vision.
  • Experience 10 or more years of comprehensive related job function/industry/ experience in addition to 2 years in a managerial position, with total experience starting from 12 years.
  • Fluent English & Arabic reading, writing & speaking skills
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, HR and finance
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • Strong knowledge in developing/maintaining financial and operational plans
  • MBA is a must
