Job Description
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations such as but not limited to Sea Freight, Air Freight and Land transport processes and procedures.
- Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and commodities to ensure they meet needs
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Partner with suppliers and inventory planners and ensure accurate movement of all international goods and ensure arrival of goods within required timeframe and obtain best freight rates at all times.
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Any other tasks relevant and in direct connection with supply chain / logistics tasks and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Very Good English and Arabic languages
- Good communications and relationship with the shipping lines, clearers and trucking companies
- Knowledge of the customs' procedures and basic required documents for customs clearance
- Hard worker, motivated and self driven person.
- Good communications skills in general
