Job Description
General Purpose
- The Solution Architect has a wide and deep understanding of the OSS/BSS business domain and Nokia solutions/products capabilities, i.e. Charging Gateway, Customer Experience Management, Mediation, Billing, Charging and Analytics/Real-time Triggering (RTT)
- Can understand customers’ current and future architecture including processes, end-customer products and related network services, applications and integration
- Has good interaction skills: can fluently interact with the customer’s key stakeholders and Nokia project team
- Can successfully define, budget and see through the delivery of a solution
Main Responsibility Area
- Create Technical Solution Proposals and effort estimates, which are used to create the project costing
- Create Hardware sizing for both Bare Metal and Cloud.
- Create HLD for complex CRs or PoCs
- Create HLD for delivered solution, monitor it’s followed
- Review LLD/work packages
- Review project plan (created by PM)
- Support TL & delivery team to realize the design
- Provide technical solution consultation for customer and SI partners
- Design solution architecture (Application/OS/DB/HW/HA)
Job Requirements
- Several years of relevant work experience in CEM/OSS/BSS Architecture and Design
- CEM/OSS/BSS domain experience with multiple years of exposure to mediation projects, involving Charging Gateway, Probe Mediation, Billing Mediation (offline and online)
- Solid experience in reference architecture planning, requirements gathering and solution architecture scoping work in CEM/OSS/BSS domain
- Knowledge of operator’s mediation business processes and link to operator’s end-to-end business processes
- Excellent skills in customer engagement as well as in leading customer workshops with formulating conclusions and documenting results
- A software development (C, C++, Java, Flink, Unix scripting) background with skills in service-oriented architecture and related protocols (Kafka, Diameter, RESTful APIs, SOA).
- Good knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and data storages (RedisDB, RockDB, ElasticSearch, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge on Cloud platforms like Openstack and VMware
- Willingness to travel in EMEA region if required
