Job Description
The Care support engineer for SDM is responsible of supporting the Care project for Nokia's customer network. His main duties is to engage with the customer on daily basis to respond and solve the technical issues within the defined SLAs and according to Nokia Care processes and procedures.
His duties include:
- Planning and executing technical tasks in own professional area.
- Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes.
- Identifies and solves technical problems.
- Shares knowledge in own professional area.
- May support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty.
- Taking full responsibility of customer issues and to actively find solutions to them
- Ensure network configuration changes (features activations, expansions, settings change etc..) are done correctly on the SDM Core network elements
- Giving support in Care operations like SW updates, upgrades, troubleshooting cases
- Working as Customer Support Engineer for solving problems and cases related to the Converged Core network elements
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of Nokia products and solutions for the SDM area
- Troubleshooting skills in Core network
- Good understanding of the Core network procedures and message flows
- Know how of the virtualized Core network products and solutions is a plus
- Excellent team work abilities
