Job Description
- Act as the first line of support, provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements. Provides telephone, in-person and online support to employees.
- Connect users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
- Administer e-mail and anti-virus systems.
- Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies and maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
- Install and configure wireless networking equipment
- Support the day-to-day operations of a computer network.
- Research for solutions using available information resources, advise user on appropriate action.
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time, responding within agreed time limits to support tickets.
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates, Testing and evaluating new technology.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as IT specialist
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and installation.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Excellent command of English Language
