Job Description

General Administrative Duties

  • Preparing periodic reports regarding the Department's activities and achievements to be submitted to the Procurement & Purchasing Specialist
  • Loads and unloads supplies and other materials.
  • Operates a variety of material handling equipment.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Senior Procurement & Purchasing Specialist

Technical Duties

  • Responsible for the safe keeping of all stock located within the warehouse
  • Controls and monitors the movement of all inventory items and ensures that inventory items are available when required Responsible for all incoming deliveries and shipment and safe keeping of all stock located within the warehouses
  • Operates procedures for activities such as verification of incoming to and outgoing from of equipment / materials shipments from the warehouse
  • Handling and disposition of inventory items and keeping warehouse inventory current and accurate
  • Using delivery documentation or delivery notes, prepares items for dispatch to client
  • Works within the company’s policies, objectives and quality management system
  • Keeps the warehouse clean and presentable
  • Responsible for issuing permits for all goods orders/requests
  • Entering data on the system if required
  • Handles and documents storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner
  • Ships canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate
  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders
  • Processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders, Reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Education

  • Bachelor in Business, Engineering or a related field,

Language Proficiency

  • Proficiency in the Arabic and English language.

Minimum Required Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a related field experience.
